Notes with vector search

Zeitnote is a Telegram bot for quick notes with meaning-based search. You write in chat — the bot saves it. You search by meaning, not exact keywords. You manage everything in a Mini App.
How it works
Chat — fast capture: text, voice, forwards.
Mini App “My notes” — browse, smart search, categories, cleanup review, trash, Saved Messages import.
Inline — insert notes into any chat via @bot query.
Saving notes
Send text, a voice message, or forward something — the bot saves it as a note. Telegram formatting is preserved. Edit the original message and the note updates. Text limit: 1500 characters.
Voice messages up to 30 seconds are transcribed so they can be found by meaning later. If transcription fails, the note is still saved with the audio.
Forwards keep source attribution. Media without a caption is labeled by type (photo, video, file, etc.).
After saving, the bot shows a status with the category and actions: change category or delete (soft-delete to Trash).
Semantic search
Search uses vector embeddings: “buy milk” can find “need to get groceries” even with no shared words.
Where to search:
in the Mini App — smart search with category filters;
via Inline (@bot …) — in any chat: empty query shows recent notes; with text — semantic search; you can also save the query itself as a new note.
Categories
Auto-categorization on save — if a note is similar enough to an existing category, the bot assigns it right away.
System categories — Work, Home, Contacts, Shopping, Ideas, Sport, Programming, and more (not deletable).
Custom categories — create, edit, and delete in the Mini App.
Suggested categories — in the background the bot clusters uncategorized notes and suggests creating a category or joining an existing one. Accept (optionally rename), dismiss, or apply to a subset of notes.
For URL-only notes, the bot can fetch the page title for better search and categorization.
Cleanup / Review
The Review section lists notes that are likely safe to discard. The bot never auto-deletes — you choose Keep or Move to trash. Bulk actions and filter by reason are supported.
Typical reasons:
exact duplicate of a newer/fuller note;
content already covered by a fuller note;
unchanged for more than a year;
short uncategorized note;
looks like an outdated reminder (“buy”, “call”, “meeting”, etc.).
If you searched, opened, edited, or shared a note via Inline, it is less likely to be suggested for deletion.
Trash
Deleted notes go to Trash: restore or permanently delete (single or bulk). They stay hidden from search and Inline until restored.
Saved Messages import
In the Mini App you can link your Telegram account and import text messages from Saved Messages. Progress, added/skipped counts, and deduplication of previously imported items. Non-text messages are skipped.
Inline in any chat
@bot + query — find and insert a note (text or voice). Empty query — recent notes. You can save the query as a note and open the bot to add more.
Language & access
Bot and Mini App UI are available in Russian and English (from Telegram language). Notes are isolated per user. No subscriptions or quotas — all features are available from the start.
