Portal Map Bot

Welcome to PortalMapBot, or PMB for short. PMB is a Telegram bot that helps you find and share portals with other agents quickly. By just sending it a portal name. eg 'Joie de Vivre Sculpture' it would return the first 3 portals that have that name. In this case, the portal name is unique so it only returns 1 result, but something more common like 'Chimera' has a few more portals with the same name. So PMB takes advantage of inline search. By typing in '@portalmapbot Chimera' and waiting (Don't hit enter!) a list of portals with that name will appear, at which point you scroll to the correct portal and select it. Bam! You get a nice little portal info screen. It should have description, name, Intel Link, image, address, lat/long, and quick links to 3 of the most popular navigation apps, Google Maps, MAPS.ME and Waze. Now your portal may be a little further down the list so theres a few more ways of finding your portals. Instead of entering the name of the portal, you can enter one of the following, Intel Link, Lat/Long or the Portal GUID (Checkout the RAW Portal plugin on the IITC page to find that one). If you add PMB to a group, it will also return results from any intel links pasted in there if you're lazy. You can use the /settings command to set a home location and radius. Results within this area will always be shown first.
